Description
You will be the Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Level 5 for the Enterprise Production Engineering team which is responsible for modernizing manufacturing design processes and systems across all Aeronautics programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Level 5 you will be responsible for leading the Digital Transformation effort that moves our manufacturing data into a modern PLM and enables a Model-Base Enterprise.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate with leaders and stakeholders across Aeronautics programs to define and execute model-based toolset and technology implementations.
Develop and standardize new manufacturing processes that support model-based installations.
Create, deliver, and champion training programs for the Production Engineering function to ensure successful deployment.
Set clear goals, motivate the team, evaluate performance, and manage hiring, development, and retention of approximately 15 Manufacturing Engineers/Test Engineers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, data integrity, and alignment with the 1LMX transformation.

Basic Qualifications
Prior leadership experience.
Prior Production Engineering experience.
BS/MS in Manufacturing Engineering or related field, equivalent manufacturing experience considered.
Desired Skills
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical problems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in Aeronautics legacy systems: QADS, SFM, SAP, CAPP, PDM, IMPACTS and ICA.
Experience working manufacturing design in model-based systems: 3DX, Teamcenter.
Knowledge of aerospace production practices and requirements.
Experience working with IT or software vendors to develop and solution business requirements.
Excellent organizational skills.
