
Sustainment Mechanical Test Engineering Associate Manager

Overview
Lockheed Martin Space Production Operations is seeking a Sustainment - System Integration and Test Engineering Associates Manager (L4) to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile Programs, reporting to the Eastern Range Test Engineering Manager (L5).
Responsibilities
This Manager role is located at the Eastern Range and will oversee mechanical activities for the FBM Sustainment Test organization with support from Sustainment L3s. The test manager will lead a multi‑disciplined team of Mechanical Test groups composed of engineers and represented employees, driving day‑to‑day test operations for the Sustainment group in support of the D5LE test activities. Responsibilities include leading mechanics, engineers, and support groups to ensure cost and schedule performance align with baselines.
Basic Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience working within DOD programs
Technical leadership experience (coded or non‑coded)
Experience leading or working with represented workforce
Experience with manufacturing, production/assembly, or test of complex spacecrafts or missiles
Desired Skills
CAM and EVMS experience and experience managing cost and schedule
Experience with the FBM program and customer base
Mechanical design and/or manufacturing experience that includes interpretation of engineering design drawings
Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials and analysis
Exposure to the LMSpace enterprise systems (EPDM, SAP, Automation Framework)
Familiarity with engineering CAD tools
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret.
