Job Summary
Quality Engineer for a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier based near Calhoun, GA. This position is responsible for implementing, sustaining, and continuously improving quality systems. Quality experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Job type: Permanent
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
Work hours: 8am to 4pm
Education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
Implement, sustain, and continuously improve quality systems.
Collaborate with customers to address and resolve production quality issues.
Develop and maintain quality standards and quality procedures to satisfy company/customer requirements.
Oversee the corrective action system and develop corrective actions using 8‑D, 5‑Why, and other problem‑solving tools.
Prepare accurate PPAP submissions to customers.
Participate in ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 internal and external audits.
Assist in the development and maintenance of PFMEA and process flow diagrams.
Required Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's Degree (Engineering degree preferred).
Minimum of two (2) years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the automotive industry.
Plastics industry experience.
