Boot Hill Casino & Resort is hiring a Revenue Auditor! In this role, you will perform daily audits of all gaming and non‑gaming areas in accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities
Follow established procedures to ensure the accurate, timely and complete performance of audits.
Complete internal and external documentation as required.
Sort, review, collate, organize and file documents as required.
Ensure all gaming audits are performed in compliance with Gaming Regulations.
Ensure all non‑gaming audits are performed in a manner to ensure the appropriate reconciliation of transactions, compliance with Federal State and Local statutes and compliance with company policy.
Prepare daily flash reports.
Assist in month‑end closing, prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP, work papers and internal financial statements.
Alert Revenue Audit Supervisor or above to discrepancies, variations and/or errors exceeding established thresholds.
Notify Revenue Audit Supervisor or above of any discovery of non‑compliance with Regulations.
Complete Exception Reports for any violation of Gaming Regulations or breach of company policies and/or internal controls.
Prepare various monthly schedules and perform account reconciliation.
Assist in filing government tax returns and preparing payments.
Assists with completion of gaming and non‑gaming end of month inventories.
Performs special projects as assigned by the Revenue Audit Supervisor or above.
Assists in the preparation of non‑recurring analysis projects.
Maintains an accurate Financial Department daily database and files.
Qualifications
Organized
Must be able to obtain a Kansas Racing and Gaming License.
