The House Painter role involves performing high-quality painting tasks primarily for residential interiors, commercial exteriors, and residential exteriors. Working within a small team of 2-3 people, the painter will travel daily to different job sites and utilize various equipment such as traditional brushes, rollers, and spray painting machines. The position emphasizes surface preparation, color accuracy, and customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing imperfections
* Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment with precision
* Match colors accurately to meet client specifications
* Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools during and after projects
* Interact professionally with customers to understand needs and provide updates
* Inspect finished work to ensure quality and adherence to standards
Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of professional painting experience
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Proficient in brush, roller, and spray painting techniques
* Strong knowledge of surface preparation and color theory
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Customer service oriented with good communication skills
* Awareness of and adherence to safety protocols
* Valid Drivers License
