We are seeking a
Site Controller
in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to oversee daily financial operations and lead a small team. This role is responsible for managing key functions such as income audit, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a hospitality environment. The Site Controller will work closely with leadership to ensure compliance, drive accuracy, and support the financial success of our resort and homeowner associations. This role is in office 5 days a week, Monday - Friday.

How You'll Shine:
Supervise Staff Accountant and Accounting Clerks.
Coordinate and oversee daily activity for income audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general cashiering, night audit and purchasing/receiving.
Manage and support the development, implementation and administration of all financial control and accounting procedures, in compliance with GAAP.
Supervise and review month-end close process.
Review monthly reports including Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Bank Reconciliations & Monthly recurring reports.
Prepare monthly cash flow forecast for Associations and work with treasury for investment opportunity.
Partner with General Manager to prepare and coordinate multiple annual budgets and forecast for the corresponding Associations.
Obtain a full understanding of the Internal Audit Standard Operating Procedures. Perform mock audits to ensure compliance.
Manage process for internal and external auditors.
Daily monitoring of cash operating accounts of the HOA’s to ensure cash needs can be met. Initiate cash transfers from investment accounts to operating accounts in a timely manner.
Review and approve A/P invoices
Attend HOA board meetings to present the financial results.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting)
Familiarity with general ledger accounting systems
Demonstrated PC skills specifically with Microsoft environment and MS Office.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment where a daily “open items” list may change based upon needs of management.
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented atmosphere.
Ability to communicate decisions and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
5+ years of accounting experience including general ledger analysis, budgets, forecasting, variance reporting & reconciliation analysis.
3+ years of Hospitality background. xywuqvp
