Accounting Specialist
Continental Shelf Associates, Inc. (CSA) is hiring for an Accounting Specialist in our Stuart, FL office. CSA is a multidisciplinary U.S. corporation established in 1970. Dedicated to the ocean industry worldwide, it services the offshore oil & gas, submarine telecom, and scientific markets as well as Federal, State, and local governments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project accounting experience
Accounts payable data entry
Support accounts receivable processing
Reconcile GL balances, job cost, and journal entries.
Perform certain month-end close responsibilities as assigned within the timeframe of the close process.
Issue A/P checks each week
Process employee expense reports
Reconcile travel advance accounts
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
A High School Diploma or the equivalent is required
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Must have flexibility and the ability to multi-task priorities
Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong working knowledge of computers and standard software packages
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, as needed.
Travel
Travel is not expected for this position.
