Part-time Convention Center Setup Assistant

Job Title
Properly set, clean, and maintain all function rooms, service corridors, storerooms, and public function areas in a safe, accident-free manner. Provide excellent customer service and work closely with guests, Sales, and other hotel departments.
Desired Skills And Qualifications
Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
Six months hotel or convention center -banquet food/beverage services environment.
Experience and knowledge in all facets of banquet operations, convention services setup, and a good understanding of AV equipment operations preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Able to lift, push, and carry 20 - 50 lbs.
Stand continuously for long periods of time.
Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff, and guests.
Must be in professional attire and have a professional demeanor at all times.
Must follow directions.
Pay beginning at $16 per hour, depending on experience. Employee benefits after 60 days. This is a part-time job, on an as-needed basis for conventions.
