Graduate Program Administrative Assistant
This position provides administrative support to the Department Head of Graduate Programs in the Bisk College of Business on main campus. The position assists graduate students with enrollment, change of majors, course substitutions, and transfer credit. The Administrative Assistant II will provide requested information, guidance, and/or assistance to current graduate students while also carrying out the academic administrative functions necessary for the students to successfully complete their academic programs. The Administrative Assistant II will serve as the initial point of contact for all College of Business graduate level main campus programs.
This position provides administrative support to the Department Head of Graduate Programs in the Bisk College of Business for the main campus, education centers, and FL Tech Online inquiries, applicants, and admitted students.
Assists the Department Head in all administrative matters in relationship to enrollment, change of majors, course substitutions, and transfer credit.
Provide academic administrative support to the Graduate Programs Dept Head, Faculty, and Students within the COB
Assist Graduate Programs Dept Head & Faculty w/ Academic Admin. activities & concerns in relation to graduate Student Success, encompassing:
Review of student degree reports for progress status
Provide course adjustments to meet degree requirements.
Review & adjust application of Transfer Credit within the degree to meet degree requirements.
Other student enrollment procedures, such as registering for online classes, or requesting to study in situations as required.
Assist Graduate Programs Dept Head w/ promotional activities within the COB as needed
Audit student academic degree progress in preparation for student graduation
Collaborate with other departments.
Suggest improvements to work processes and provide backup duties as needed.
Follow up on all current and prospective graduate student inquiries.
Capable of learning Workday ERP as well as an understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree with job experience in an administrative role in an office environment.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report
The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information, and imposes certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.
Florida Tech's 2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
The numbers provided include crime statistics that were reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.
The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures; descriptions of prevention and awareness programs; related university procedures and important guidance; and other essential safety information.

Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES).
