Role Purpose
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. Working in conjunction with business, IT service lines, business engagement, enterprise architects and IT leadership, you will leverage your technical expertise in Salesforce development to create scalable and efficient solutions that drive organizational success. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design (HLD/LLD), develop, and customize Salesforce solutions on force.com platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, other Salesforce technologies, and application integration patterns.

Participate in Salesforce implementation projects across Sales and Service clouds, including CPQ, including but not limited to requirements documentation, systems configuration & development, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution.

Implement complex business logic and workflows to automate processes and enhance user experience.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design and develop scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that adhere to best practices, standards, and design patterns.

Prepare and present code reviews, ensuring code quality and maintainability.

Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third‑party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and custom integrations.

Design and implement data migration strategies to ensure accurate and seamless transfer of data between systems.

Experiences/Education – Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of hands‑on experience in Salesforce development with strong expertise in Apex programming, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect, Middleware).

Proven track record of delivery of high‑quality Salesforce solutions across Sales and Service clouds, including CPQ.

Extensive hands‑on experience in delivering large‑scale Salesforce.com deployment projects.

Thorough understanding of the Salesforce portfolio, platform architecture, and related technologies and dependencies.

Experience with enterprise integration and ETL tools.

Knowledge of reporting and analytics concepts and tools.

Understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and the ability to manage large amounts of data within Salesforce.

Solutions proposal development.

Experience in implementation projects as well as in support.

Experiences/Education – Desired

Salesforce Certifications are highly desirable (Salesforce Developer I/II).

Strong working knowledge of business processes across commercial function.

Understanding of cloud concepts and delivery of business capability via SaaS model and agile methodologies.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose innovative solutions.

Expertise in Salesforce CRMA is a plus.

Location & Travel Requirement

Ability to accommodate travel, including international travel, up to 15%+.

The position can be based in Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY.

Salary
Range: $92,830.00 – $127,641.00 for full‑time status. Starting pay is dependent on job‑related factors including location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
