
Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as the primary on‑site HR lead for our Salt Lake City location (~150 employees), with additional HR support for our Huntington Beach, CA location and Canada-based employees. This role is based in our Salt Lake City Office and operates on a hybrid work model. This highly visible, autonomous role reports to and partners closely with the Division Head of HR based out of our Austin, TX location and the Salt Lake City General Manager, balancing strategic impact with hands‑on HR execution.
The role is based in our Salt Lake City, UT office and will enjoy our Hybrid working environment. This role will have periodic travel for meetings, site visits and company sponsored events at corporate offices.
What is the role?
Strategic Partnership
Advise leaders on workforce planning, org design, and people strategy
Translate business goals into practical HR initiatives
Identify organizational needs and propose effective solutions
Employee Relations
Manage complex employee relations issues and investigations
Guide managers on performance, discipline, and conflict resolution
Foster a fair, accountable, respectful workplace
Performance Management
Lead goal‑setting, check‑ins, and annual review processes
Coach managers on performance conversations and documentation
Onboarding & HR Operations
Own end‑to‑end onboarding and HR administrative processes
Maintain accurate employee records and support daily HR inquiries
Organizational Development
Build and maintain career paths, job leveling, and org design work
Contribute to enterprise‑wide OD initiatives
Support change management initiatives
Employee Engagement
Drive pulse survey participation and analyze results
Partner with leaders on action planning and follow‑through
Communications
Draft employee communications for the General Manager
Ensure clear, timely messaging around HR programs and changes
Training & Development
Identify learning needs and coordinate or facilitate training
Support coaching, development planning, and succession discussions
Other duties as assigned
Does this sound like you?
8+ years of progressive HR experience, including true HRBP work
Strong partnership skills with senior leaders
Comfort balancing strategic work with hands‑on HR tasks
Solid employee relations expertise
Experience with engagement programs, career frameworks, and training
Highly collaborative, independent, and emotionally intelligent
Familiarity with CA and/or Canadian employment law preferred
Bachelor's degree required; HR certifications preferred
