Direct Jobs, Lutz, FL, United States
Join Us on the Ground Floor of Something Great!
Beacon Emergency Veterinary Hospital is opening our third location in Lutz, Florida this summer, and we're looking for talented ER veterinarians ready to help build something incredible.
This is a rare chance to join a hospital from day one, shape its culture, and grow with a veterinarian‑led company that's expanding fast across Tampa Bay. If you want to practice excellent emergency medicine in a place where you feel supported, respected, and equipped to do your best work, we want to hear from you.
What's Different About Beacon
At Beacon, we exist to serve our communities and do what's best for pets and the people who love them. That same belief guides how we take care of our team.
You’ll work in a hospital where doctors are trusted, nurses are respected, and clients are met with warmth during the hardest moments of their lives. You’ll have direct access to ownership, a leadership team that listens, and real input on how we grow.
People Focused. Pet Driven. It’s who we are, and it’s why doctors love working here.
What You’ll Have at Beacon Lutz
Beacon Lutz is being built as a fully equipped critical care hospital from day one. When you walk in, you’ll have everything you need to practice at the top of your license:
Blood products, anti‑venom, and a fully supplied pharmacy
Complete in‑house lab with digital cytology
Digital radiography with radiologist reports on every case
Ultrasound and endoscopy (training available)
Fully equipped OR with cautery, LigaSure, and TA/GA staplers
CT imaging with boarded radiologist read‑outs
Collaboration with boarded criticalists and surgeons on advanced cases
An exceptional nursing team trained in advanced critical care
Mentorship That Actually Works
Experienced ER doctors, we’d love to have you. New grads and GPs moving into emergency medicine, we’d love to have you too.
We’ve mentored 20+ doctors in surgical skills, endoscopy, ER proficiency, and critical care. Skill gaps shouldn’t keep talented doctors from the career they want, and at Beacon, they won’t. You’ll learn alongside experienced ER veterinarians who love teaching and want to see you thrive.
