Job Overview
Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer / Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver water, wastewater, and groundwater projects in Arizona. The role involves developing and managing municipal water and wastewater utility system project planning, design, and construction services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead teams in delivery of water/wastewater projects.
Participate in local professional organizations, preparing and presenting market‑specific papers and presentations.
Collaborate with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, CAD) in producing plans and specifications.
Assist in marketing business opportunities with key clients and develop responses to RFPs/RFQs.
Provide marketing and support during procurement and execution of projects.
Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships.
Consistently manage and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Mentor and manage staff.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
Arizona network of water/wastewater professionals/contacts.
Regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering.
Active participation in professional organizations.
Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Strong client relationship skills.
Excellent design team leadership skills.
