Job Description
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an
Associate or Experienced Industrial Engineer
(Level 2 or 3) to join our dynamic team at
Kennedy Space Center, Florida .
This role is crucial to the development and production of the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, designed to transport crew to the International Space Station and beyond. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Position Responsibilities
Facilitate the development and maintenance of the assembly precedence networks
Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Support root cause analysis and corrective action for manufacturing issues
Work with operations management to remove roadblocks and prioritize work
Utilize a systems‑thinking approach to develop creative solutions for complex problems and drive consensus on technical decisions
Employ a variety of communication styles to ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction through project updates, including presentations to program leadership
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
2+ years of experience with Industrial Engineering or a similar role (i.e., Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.)
Experience with Industrial Engineering information systems and tools
Experience leading improvement projects using continuous improvement methodologiesExperience in the following areas: Adaptability, Analytical Skills, Business Acumen, Communication, Decision Making, Initiative, Leadership, and Teamwork
Experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Experienced (Level 3) Summary pay range: $100,300 - $135,700
