$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year (based on experience)
Position Introduction / Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking an Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) Fluids Test Engineer to support the Boeing CST-100 Starliner program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Key Duties
Conduct leak checks and operate high-pressure fluid systems for spacecraft testing.
Work with refrigerants, coolants, and oxygen systems, ensuring proper operation and safety.
Support spacecraft test engineering efforts, troubleshooting and optimizing system performance.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education
Only U.S. citizens eligible.
Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, including testing for marijuana use.
Position subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
Knowledge in leak detection, high-pressure system operations, and fluid system troubleshooting for spacecraft testing.
Knowledge of refrigerant, coolant, and oxygen systems in support of human spaceflight programs.
Knowledge of developing and executing procedures for leak checks and performing functional testing of spacecraft ECLSS.
Ability to document and resolve non-conformances on both ground support equipment and flight hardware.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education
Current or previous Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Leak Test certification.
1 or more years of test engineering experience on spacecraft.
