Overview
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. in Orlando, FL. This position is specifically to staff a D shift (Thursday–Sunday, 4/10s).

What You Will Be Doing

Translating complex engineering blueprints and parts lists into easy to follow, all-encompassing work instructions for mechanics/assemblers on the production floor.

Improving the overall process of the build using complex, cutting‑edge technologies and automation.

Solving complex problems through troubleshooting and new development of processes for ever‑changing products being built in our factory.

Conducting RCCA, Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts, and developing process improvements to lower cost, increase quality, and deliver a better, repeatable product faster.

Employment Details
Shift: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week (D shift: Thursday–Sunday).

Type: Full‑time.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

5+ years of production engineering experience with a related Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with a related Master’s degree.

U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a Security clearance.

Desired Skills

Experience writing technical work instructions.

Able to work in a cross‑function, teaming environment.

Detailed knowledge of GD&T.

SAP experience.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques.

CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design.

Experience working with electro‑mechanical and/or optical assemblies.

Security Requirements
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen.

Clearance Level: Secret.
