Join the Manufacturing Engineering group in the Lockheed Martin Sensor Integration and Test Center.
What You Will Be Doing

Translating complex engineering blueprints and parts lists into easy to follow, all-encompassing work instructions for the mechanics/assemblers on the production floor.
Improve the overall process of the build using complex, cutting edge technologies and automation.
Use your technical background to solve complex problems with troubleshooting and development of new processes for ever changing products being built in our factory.
Support RCCA, Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts, and develop process improvements to lower cost, increase quality, and deliver a better, repeatable product faster.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Position requires 2+ years of production engineering experience with a related Bachelor’s degree or a related Master’s degree.
Must be a U.S. citizen and can obtain a Security clearance.
Desired Skills

Experience writing technical work instructions
Able to work in a cross functional, teaming environment
Detailed knowledge of GD&T
SAP Experience
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques
CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design
Experience working with electro-mechanical and/or optical assemblies
Security Clearance Statement

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
