Engineering Manager

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an Engineering Manager.

This role will oversee the design and implementation of products into manufacturing, with a focus on tooling, automation, and continuous process improvement. The manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring product launches and manufacturing operations are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
In this role, you will

Manage tooling and automation departments, including associated projects
Ensure tooling is designed, manufactured, and implemented on schedule and within budget
Oversee 1st piece approvals and process capability studies
Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving across manufacturing processes
Evaluate potential suppliers and remain current on advanced materials and processing technologies
Promote a strong culture of safety, ensuring alignment with quality and compliance standards
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
5+ years of automotive engineering management experience (10+ total engineering years preferred)
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach on the plant floor
Broad expertise in tooling design/maintenance, fixtures, and automation equipment
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
