Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Field Engineer
to design, service, troubleshoot, and repair
industrial water and water treatment systems
supporting manufacturing, processing, and industrial operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who thrives in plant environments and understands the importance of system reliability, safety, and production uptime.
Key Responsibilities
Design and configure
industrial water treatment and process systems
for manufacturing and industrial facilities
Install, commission, and optimize systems supporting production operations
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues to minimize downtime
Service and repair pumps, filtration, RO, DI, softening, cooling water, boiler feed, and wastewater systems
Analyze system performance and water quality data to improve efficiency and reliability
Work directly with plant engineers, maintenance teams, and operations staff
Provide on‑site technical support, training, and system documentation
Maintain accurate service reports, root‑cause analyses, and maintenance records
Follow plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and environmental compliance requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Electrical)
or
equivalent industrial field experience
8–10 years of experience with
industrial water or process systems
Strong hands‑on troubleshooting skills in operating facilities
Experience working in manufacturing plants or industrial environments
Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings
Comfortable working independently in the field and responding to urgent issues
Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Preferred Experience
RO, DI, membrane, and high‑purity water systems
Cooling tower and boiler water treatment
PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, and control panels
Commissioning, system upgrades, and retrofits
Experience supporting regulated or critical production processes
