Position Summary
Trade Finance Analyst – Trade Finance Commercial Underwriting is responsible for the financial analysis and modeling of manufacturer contracts negotiated by the Trade Relations team for the Zinc Health Services and Government Programs organization commercial lines of business. The analyst also includes financial analysis of manufacturer contracts negotiated by the CVS Caremark Trade Relations team, pre‑ and post‑implementation financial analysis of implemented strategies, providing analytics and data for contract negotiations, developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to support the Trade organization in evaluating and advancing prospective initiatives and strategies, extracting and analyzing drug utilization data from multiple databases while adhering to time‑sensitive deadlines, collaborating with Trade and other partner teams on data and analysis needs, maintaining relationships with Trade Relations and other partnering organizations, and involvement in project work to improve underwriting operations.

Responsibilities

Financial analysis of manufacturer contracts negotiated by the CVS Caremark Trade Relations team

Pre and post‑implementation financial analysis of implemented strategies

Providing analytics and data for contract negotiations

Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support the Trade organization in evaluating and advancing prospective initiatives and strategies

Extract and analyze drug utilization data from multiple databases, ensuring adherence to time‑sensitive deadlines

Collaboration with Trade and other partner teams on data and analysis needs

Maintaining relationships with Trade Relations and other partnering organizations

Involvement in project work to improve underwriting operations

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience

At least 1 year of experience in Finance

At least 1 year of experience in Excel and/or analytical roles

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of advanced Excel experience

Background in Healthcare Finance or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM)

Experience with contract interpretation

Proficiency with Power BI, Python, and/or VBA is highly desirable

Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40

Time Type: Full time

Pay Range
$43,888.00 – $102,081.00. This range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
