Pay: $100-115K
Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, approvals, vendor payments, and disbursements.
Manage payroll processing for a large multi-state employee base, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
Review payroll reports, tax filings, reconciliations, and benefit deductions for accuracy and compliance.
Partner with HR to manage employee data changes, compensation updates, and benefits-related payroll activity.
Supervise and mentor AP and payroll staff, providing training, performance feedback, and day-to-day leadership.
Develop and improve AP and payroll policies, procedures, and workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining documentation, ensuring audit readiness, and upholding financial controls.
Assist with budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, and other finance-related projects as needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Internal Audit, and Finance to support operational and strategic business goals.
Qualifications
5+ years of combined accounts payable and payroll experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, payroll tax regulations, accounts payable processes, and internal controls.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with payroll/accounting systems such as ADP, AvidXchange, or similar ERP platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. xywuqvp
