Description

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this full-time, exempt salaried position supervises the daily operations of a remote branch facility, including Member Service operations, Lending, and other operational functions while working closely with the Branch Manager. The position maintains the staff and branch to enhance the member experience and help promote Credit Union growth.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Supervise daily branch operations including Member Service functions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and opening new accounts while promoting cross selling of Credit Union services.
Direct lending functions such as underwriting and disbursing consumer loans in a manner consistent with established Credit Union procedures.
Assist Branch Manager in scheduling, evaluating, training and supervising branch personnel.
Conduct interviews, evaluations and recommend hiring for the branch.
Work closely with the Branch manager in implementing procedural and policy changes and communicating those changes to all branch personnel.
Provide financial counseling, budgeting guidance, and other assistance to members who express financial concern.
Assist in the development of/or improvements to various programs and services as they relate to member service in the branch.
Assist with questions and problems on member accounts. Assist in balancing of cash drawers as needed.
Operate in various branch roles as needed, such as working the teller line and in a lending capacity, to ensure exceptional member service.
Motivate employees and practice confidentiality relating to employee and member information.
Keep abreast of federal and state regulations and stay in compliance with all laws pertaining to operations, including employment laws.
Cooperate and work together as a team with coworkers, maintain a neat work area, and perform other duties as required by supervisors.
Maintaining office emails, supplies and making repair calls as needed.
Review various operational reports as required to ensure the branch staff are meeting their production goals.
Qualifications and Certifications
Associate's Degree or higher required.
1-3 years of similar or related experience required.
3-5 years of similar or related experience preferred.
