Responsibilities

Installing, configuring, supporting, and deploying Windows operating systems, as well as ensuring their security and performance.
Work with both physical and virtual servers, and be responsible for tasks like virus updates, patches, and performance tuning.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or other IT-related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Experience:

15+ years
Required technical skills:

Experience with Windows systems engineering and administration, including:
MSSQL databases
Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)
VM clusters
Hyper-V
Data Protection Manager
PowerShell scripting
Demonstrated experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes to accredit security-controlled systems.

Tools and technologies:

Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Server 2016, Server 2019, Server 2022); Windows desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows 10, Windows 11); Microsoft Group Policy Management (for managing settings across multiple machines); Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) (for managing updates); Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Security clearance level:

TS/SCI with Polygraph
