This role is part of the Sales & Marketing team. It involves understanding client needs and tailoring easy-to-use solutions to deliver performance. The position supports a hybrid/remote schedule with in-office days as required by business needs, and may adjust on-site requirements or schedule expectations based on performance and business needs. Candidates must be able to commute to the Schaumburg, IL office as required.
Position
Marketing Specialist – Web
is part of the Marketing team and reports to the Senior Marketing Manager-Website. The role supports Paylocity’s online presence by creating, improving, and maintaining web pages, managing the full URL inventory, and reporting on traffic and metrics to identify improvements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Work with management and cross-functional teams to update existing and/or build new web pages using Adobe CMS.
Gain in-depth knowledge of CMS components to guide requestors and facilitate their requests.
Collaborate with web designers to ensure a consistent, positive, and fluid user experience.
Manage a ticket queue of inbound requests to meet timelines; initiate tickets for routine updates.
Elevate new component design requirements to PM and manage delivery expectations with requestors.
Manage and update URL inventory on an assigned cadence.
Track pre/post web analytics to determine engagement with updated content.
Support setup and rollout of testing experiments in CMS.
Lead meetings as PM with marketing teams to ensure alignment and forward progression.
Work with the web project manager and cross-functional stakeholders to refine processes and define new workflows within Wrike for templates and functionality to ensure scalability and quality of requests.
Perform competitive analysis to guide best practices and growth opportunities.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related fields required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good project and organization management.
1-2 years of marketing experience and working knowledge of tech stack to support the website.

Compensation
The base salary range is $55,000–$60,000 per year, with variation based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits as described here.
