Position:
Site Project Services Manager
Hatch is seeking a Site Project Services Manager in Central Idaho. The Site Project Services Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of the onsite services and supporting organization(s). Site services required by a project will be included in the Project Execution Plan which will define the Client, Hatch or shared service(s) responsibility arrangement as required by the project contract.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, coordinate, implement and maintain the following services:
Facilities management
Camps and accommodations
Personnel transportation systems, on and off site
Vehicles and maintenance
IT systems and services
Site document control
General site administrative/project support services
Site human resources
Commercial management
Managing multiple site service contracts including contractor safety, cost and schedule
Coordinate field office space allocation, site staff personnel, site office equipment and services (i.e. computers, peripherals, phones, copiers, and general office supplies)
Chair or attend meetings required for the Site Management organization
Organize internal coordination meetings with own staff and with site services contractor representatives
Manage the overall site services budget and any potential risks that may impact the Project
Qualifications and Experience
A technical degree or diploma related to construction and/or service management
Minimum of 10 to 15 years of related field experience
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Competent interpersonal and leadership skills/training
Excellent business aptitude and negotiation skills
A complete understanding of the construction process including familiarity with risk management and mitigation practices
Knowledge and understanding of common forms of contract, as well as demonstrable understanding of contract requirements and legalities applicable to the construction industry in general, and specific to the region or project jurisdiction
Experience preparing construction services estimates and budgets at both conceptual and detailed levels
Understanding the health and safety (H&S), environment, sustainability and community interface (ES&CI) and quality assurance and quality control (QA&QC) principles and implementation
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field (Construction Management, Business Administration, etc.)
Expertise and proven experience managing site services on complex major projects and in particular, located in challenging locations around the globe
Working knowledge of the various onsite department functions that fall within the scope of this position
