Job Description

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a

Project Change Engineer

located in

Roy, Utah, Huntsville, Alabama, or Manhattan Beach, California

and supporting the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get To Do

Oversee the development, request, and implementation of changes to the Program and technical baseline with a focus on ensuring changes are well understood, documented, and executed through the Program approved Change Boards. The Project Change Engineers bring a “cradle to grave” solution for Program changes.
Develop change request packages and represent the package through the change board process
Ensure change request package meets quality standards and is board ready
Coordinate comment follow‑up, resolution, and approvals
Coordinate and provide input into impact assessments
Coordinate resolution and closeout of board action items
Interface with Configuration Management when submitting change requests and finalize change requests after board approval
Ensure approved change requests are implemented prior to change request closure
Follow through to ensure change requests are closed timely
Basic Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen with an

active U.S. Government Secret Clearance , at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Bachelor of Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 2 years of experience; 0 years with Master’s
1 year of experience writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and/or Configuration Management Plans (CMP) that align with EIA Standard 649-1, MIL-HDBK-61B, or best industry practices
1 year of experience demonstrating System Engineering principles, process, knowledge, practice, and theories
1 year of presentation experience with the ability to present to project and program management, other technical managers, and customers
2 years of experience with MS Office Suite Product(s)
2 years technical writing experience
Preferred Qualifications

Current DoD Top Secret clearance
3 years of relevant years of experience in a configuration & data management role with knowledge of best practices, tools, procedures to include but not limited to JIRA, Confluence, DOORs, Cameo, and CPLM
3 years of experience demonstrating Model Based Systems Engineering concepts, theories, and tools
3 years of experience demonstrating basic principles, concepts, and methodology used in configuration and data management
3 years of subcontractor technical oversight experience
3 years of project management experience

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
