Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a

Configuration Analyst

to join its team. This position is in

Roy, UT

and will support the Sentinel program. The role reports to operating Segment Configuration Management / Data Management, and Program Change Engineering Lead, and works directly with Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM-PCE) leadership in a wide array of tasks associated with both configuration and data management disciplines.

Responsibilities

Planning meeting agendas, conducting meetings, and recording meeting minutes, controlling technical baselines, and tracking configuration status, performing document reviews to include classification markings, data rights markings, and formatting.

Familiarity with development and transfer of technical baselines, and conducting configuration audits.

Developing Data Management products, knowledge, and experience with both Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) and Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) processes.

Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems; must be able to perform research and determine the best option from a variety of options without manager guidance.

Plan, schedule, and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives.

Provide detailed CM/DM subject matter knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders when requested.

Represent the organization as a prime contact on the assigned contract or project.

Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Basic Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.

Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Minimum 2 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 0 years with a master’s degree. An additional 4 years of direct Configuration Management or Data Management experience in a DoD environment can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

Preferred Qualifications

NG CPLM or Siemens Teamcenter experience.

Siemens NX and/or Capella experience.

JIRA, SharePoint experience.

ICBM Weapon Systems experience.

Familiarity with EIA-649 and/or MIL-HDBK-61.

Salary Range: $65,500 – $98,300. This range is a general guideline; compensation may vary based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available. Sabbatical and long‑term incentive plans may apply for higher‑level positions.

The standard work schedule is 9/80, allowing a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday with alternate Friday off. Relocation assistance may be available as a package.
