About the Role
The Solutions Architect advises customers, partners and channel partners how to build and implement strategic solutions on a complex scale. Additionally, the Solutions Architect acts as a conduit between the field systems engineer team and Veeam cross‑functional product groups. This senior technical role is heavily involved in application virtualization, storage, and multi‑cloud infrastructures. The position has a focus on designing availability solutions, including data protection and monitoring using Veeam products. The Solutions Architect also serves as an escalation point for partner solutions as well as the Pre‑Sales Organization.
What You’ll Do
Engage with sales teams in supporting sales opportunities from pre‑sales through post‑sales relationships
Provide architectural designs and engage in large scale proof of concepts, technical alliance validations, and post‑sales deployments supporting Veeam service delivery partners
Provide subject‑matter expertise in the Veeam product suites to customers, partners, and internal Veeam teams
Develop whitepapers, best practice guides, competitive analysis documentation, and compete strategies as required to support deployment engagements and sales opportunities
Be an active contributor in the Veeam Community Forums
Attend marketing and technical presentations representing Veeam at a subject‑matter expert level
What You’ll Bring
Deep experience with hypervisor technologies from multiple vendors including VMware, Microsoft and RedHat.
Hands‑on experience of large and complex datacenter infrastructure operations
Experience and understanding of the top three hyperscalers (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud)
Experience with relational database software.
Experience with programming/scripting language for automation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be comfortable presenting to groups, both on the phone and in person
Be available to travel within the assigned region as directed
Be a self‑starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
Possess project management skills
Demonstrated expert capabilities in focused solutions
Demonstrated logical mindset and problem‑solving skills

For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance‑based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Boroughs – $252,500 – $468,800 USD
Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area) – $231,500 – $429,800 USD
Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs); Sales roles located in Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona – $210,400 – $390,700 USD
Zone 4: All other US locations – $183,000 – $339,900 USD
