Third Party commercial property management firm is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a retail portfolio in the South Orange County and a few North San Diego areas. The company provides the potential for commission through renewals, excellent health care coverage, 401K and matching, and other benefits. This is a great opportunity to build up your PM career and grow! The position will be based out of Costa Mesa, managing properties in a variety of locations working for a premiere ownership.
Responsibilities:

* Traveling to various tenants and properties
* Mentoring and developing staff
* Ensuring events are well executed at properties
* Communicating with prospective new tenants and brokers
* Reviewing leases and abstracting leases as needed, or training team to complete this
* Reviewing bids and selecting contractors/vendors for various projects
* Managing TI and CapEx projects
* Preparing CAM's
* Generating budgets
* Analyzing expenses and preparing variance reporting
* Preparing monthly/quarterly financial reporting for Ownership
* Mentoring Assistant Property Manager and Property Coordinator
* Handling escalated building needs
* Evaluating potential upcoming CapEx needs with Ownership
* Managing a variety of specialty projects
* Working with team to oversee various building functions and events
* Implementing new policies and procedures based on building needs
* Providing training to staff

Special Skills:

* Strong communication and people skills
* Ability to work well with a variety of personalities

Must Have:

* Current CA Real Estate License
* BA or BS desired
* 4+ years as a PM of retail and office properties
