Position Overview
Atlantic Health is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiac Access Unit at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. In this role, the NP will work collaboratively with a robust Heart Care team, managing, supervising, and supporting patients in the Cardiac Access, Cardiac Extended, and Cardiac Observation units.
Responsibilities
Collaboration with the Cardiac Access Unit team
Management and supervision of patient care in the Cardiac Access, Cardiac Extended, and Cardiac Observation units
Support of patients undergoing cardiac surgeries or procedures
Implementation of evidence‑based cardiac practices in a fast‑paced environment
Qualifications
Master's degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
NP or PA Certification with a New Jersey license
DEA and CDS credentials
ACLS and BLS certification
Minimum of 2‑3 years of critical‑care or cardiology experience
Excellent communication and computer skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as a team player
