Job Summary
Plans and implements a local outreach program to ensure a sufficient number of referrals for Job Corps participation.
Schedule
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Flex Schedule
Duties / Responsibilities
Execute outreach strategies to attract and enroll qualified applicants
Conduct interviews and evaluate applications to determine program eligibility
Accurately collect, maintain, and ensure compliance of applicant records
Guide and support applicants through the admissions process and transition to center life
Provide clear information on program offerings and local career opportunities
Coordinate travel arrangements for accepted applicants
Collaborate with center staff to ensure a seamless and supportive student experience
Deliver presentations, conduct tours, and build partnerships with community organizations
Requirements
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social sciences, communications, or a related field; or an Associate’s degree in a related field with two years of relevant experience, including outreach and admissions in Job Corps or similar youth development programs.
Preferred:
Minimum plus Previous Job Corps experience
Knowledge:
Knowledge of Job Corps or similar training program. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent presentation skills. Must possess a valid State driver’s license. Ability to effectively relate to students. Excellent organizational skills.
