Partner closely with various departments to serve as the finance and quantitative resource, supporting enterprise-level transformative projects and strategic finance initiatives. Analyze financial data, develop strategic plans, and present findings and business cases to senior leadership, including the CFO. Drive valuation work for acquisitions, divestitures, capital investments, and major agreements related to distribution and supply chain. Collaborate in a dynamic finance environment undergoing strategic transformation, including the implementation of new technology stacks and ERP systems to enhance automation and proactivity. Position based on-site in St. Louis with potential for limited remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities
Act as a proactive finance business partner, going beyond routine data entry to provide insightful analysis and strategic financial guidance.
Build comprehensive business cases that demonstrate pro forma P&L impacts and facilitate informed decision-making at the executive level.
Support strategic finance projects such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital expenditure evaluations.
Work cross-functionally with departments to flesh out financial aspects of projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Contribute to the ongoing modernization of finance processes by embracing new ERP technologies and automation tools.
Qualifications
Proven background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with significant exposure to strategic finance projects.
Experience partnering with multiple departments to develop financial models, business cases, and valuation analyses.
Strong capability in presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior executives, including CFOs.
Familiarity with capital investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and major commercial agreements.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an evolving finance environment adopting new technology and process improvements.
Residence in or willingness to relocate to St. Louis to fulfill on-site work requirements.
