Facilities Project Lead III

Job Title: Facilities Project Lead III Duration: 12 Months (possible extension) Pay is $50/hr on w2 Location: Corning, NY (14831) Job Description: Lead and manage capital projects, facility repairs, renovations, and process improvements within an engineering division. Responsible for end-to-end project execution from planning through closeout, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication. Collaborate with internal teams and external EPCM partners to deliver cost-effective and technically sound solutions. Apply structured problem-solving methods (PMBOK, DMAIC, K-T) to resolve complex facility and equipment issues. Key Requirements: 5+ years of engineering/project management experience. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in cost control, scheduling, and project estimation. Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical or related field. Preferred: PMP/PE certification. Experience with MS Project, Excel, SharePoint Facility design, equipment installation, or commis.sioning experience.
