We are seeking a hands-on

Production Manager

to join a

privately held manufacturing company

that has been in operation for over 30 years. This role reports directly to ownership and will have full responsibility for production, assembly, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a lean, non-corporate environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and has direct administrative experience with

ISO 9000 . The Production Manager will be responsible for stabilizing operations following a recent facility move and building scalable, repeatable processes to support future growth.

Key Responsibilities
Own the production workflow end-to-end, including assembly, shipping, and receiving
Lead and manage a team of approximately 5–7 employees (full-time and part-time)
Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and adjustments (E.g. using QuickBooks/Excel)
Print and manage sales orders and production documentation
Serve as the internal owner of

ISO 9000

administrative processes, including corrective actions, audit preparation, and documentation coordination with an external ISO consultant
Identify gaps in current processes and implement practical improvements
Maintain same-day or next-day fulfillment standards without sacrificing quality
Work directly with ownership on operational priorities and improvements

Required Qualifications
Production or Manufacturing Management experience in a hands-on environment
Direct administrative experience with ISO 9000

(Audit prep, corrective actions, documentation, not just working in an ISO-certified facility)
Experience with inventory management
Strong working knowledge of Excel ( For tracking, inventory reconciliation, and reporting)
Prior experience managing small teams in production, assembly, or shipping environments
Comfortable working in a lean, privately owned business with minimal layers

Preferred / Plus Qualifications
Background in mechanical, machining, or manufacturing operations (not required)
Experience stabilizing operations after a facility move or operational disruption
Experience implementing cycle counts

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $65,000 to $85,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
