Beachside Animal Hospital is a growing, single doctor practice, and we’re looking for a seasoned, motivated Veterinary Technician to join our hardworking, upbeat team in Satellite Beach, Florida. If you’re confident in your technical abilities, thrive in a fast‑moving clinical environment, and want to work somewhere that still has a great vibe, this could be your perfect fit.
We’re Looking For Technicians Who:
Have at least 1 year of hands‑on veterinary technician experience
Are confident and efficient with:
Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
Anesthesia induction, monitoring, surgical assistance, and post‑op recovery
Dentistry, including dental radiography
Proper patient positioning and the ability obtain high‑quality diagnostic radiographs
Enjoy client education and clearly communicating treatment plans and care instructions
Take pride in excellent patient care, teamwork, and professionalism
Can multitask, problem‑solve, and keep things moving on busy days
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred, but not required
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Are compassionate and empathetic towards animals
Have excellent organizational and time management skills
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the doctor through medical, surgical, and dental procedures
Animal restraint and assisting with physical exams
Administering medications and performing diagnostic tests
Monitoring anesthesia and patient vitals with confidence
Performing high‑quality dental cleanings with dental radiographs
Educating clients on diagnostics, medications, preventive care, and follow‑up
Maintaining accurate medical records and a clean, efficient treatment space
Being a key, respected member of a collaborative veterinary team
What We Offer

Job Types: Full-time
Location: Satellite Beach, FL
Schedule: Full‑time preferred; strong part‑time candidates considered
8‑hour shift, MTWF (8 am - 5 pm)
Weekend availability: 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month (8 am to noon)
