Position Overview
We’re hiring compassionate, dependable PRN Home Health Aides (HHA) for flexible ongoing care positions that provide essential in‑home support to clients. This role is ideal for caregivers who are passionate about helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, and independence while enjoying a flexible schedule and building meaningful connections.
Caregivers will assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and light housekeeping, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs. They will also provide companionship and support to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with ADLs and light housekeeping (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene).
Support safe mobility and transfers while helping clients with movement and positioning.
Assist with specialized care such as feeding support and personal care routines as needed.
Offer companionship and emotional support to ensure client comfort, dignity, and overall well‑being.
Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to supervisors or case managers.
Follow the established care plan and maintain clear communication with the care team.
Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment for clients.
Job Responsibilities
Provide client‑facing care as assigned, including:
Daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.
Personal and hygiene care (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting, assisting with measurements).
Mobility work defined by the plan of care and documentation of observed changes to the Director of Nursing.
Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and protocols.
Adhere to HIPAA laws and ensure confidentiality of client medical information.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum one year of documented home care or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility (preferred).
Preferred completion of a nursing assistant or certified home health aide program.
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x‑ray.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (proof of insurance required).
Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull; lift up to 50 pounds (varied assistance required).
Self‑directing with ability to work with little supervision.
Ability to adhere to HIPAA and ensure confidentiality of client medical information.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively.
Up‑to‑date vaccinations including COVID‑19, influenza, and hepatitis B.
