
Cath Lab Tech FT Days 10k Sign on Bonus

Position Overview
Location: Baylor Regional Medical Center Grapevine, 1650 W College St, Grapevine, TX 76051
Sign-on bonus: $10,000 and relocation assistance available.
Full-time: 4 days a week, 10‑hour day shifts (Mon‑Fri 6:00‑4:30). On-call: approx. 7‑8 days per month including one weekend; STEMI call required. 30‑minute response time to facility.
Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist operates in the catheterization and electrophysiology laboratory under general supervision, assisting physicians with procedures, preparing equipment, monitoring patients, managing records and quality control, and providing emergency care as needed.
Role Responsibilities
Assist physicians with arteriograms, catheterizations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and other interventional procedures.
Maintain radiation protection compliance and provide emergency CPR, defibrillation.
Perform pre‑and post‑procedure care and monitoring.
Orient patients, monitor ECG, pressures, temperature and impedance in EP lab, notifying physicians of variances.
Run RF/Cryo ablation systems, 3D mapping, record procedural documentation.
Manage images, perform image processing, record registry and quality data.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields, order and maintain inventory, coordinate inventories.
Calibrate and maintain complex equipment, report maintenance needs.
Orchestrate orientation and training of new staff and students.
Conduct quality control monitoring, audits, and participate in governance and committees.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field or equivalent 2 years of experience; preferred graduate of an accredited RCIS‑related technical or associate’s program.
Minimum 2 years Cath, EP, or vascular experience (preferred).
Licensure/credential: ARRT‑R or MRT through TX Medical Board; RCIS preferred. Must meet one of: ARRT‑R and MRT, RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or CCDS.
Certifications & Licenses
ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
