
Pharmacy Technician

This short-term, 6-week, opportunity is ideal for pharmacy technicians looking for temporary or seasonal work OR candidates looking for a quick start assignment with prior customer service experience. You’ll support pharmacists with daily prescription processing while delivering friendly, accurate customer service in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update patient and insurance information accurately
Assist with prescription processing, filling, and order support
Answer routine questions about medications, pricing, and pharmacy services
Communicate with healthcare staff regarding refills and non-clinical medication questions
Support pharmacy operations including data entry, inventory, phones, and registers
Follow all pharmacy regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and safety standards
Maintain a positive, professional attitude while supporting team goals
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
Ability to start a position ASAP
Must be able to train in Portland for 1-2 weeks, then work in Brunswick for 2-6 weeks
Licenses & Certifications
OR willingness to apply for your pharmacy tech license (it's quick and we'll help!)

Ability to multitask and handle interruptions
