Full Time 40 hours/week, with flexibility in scheduling. The role primarily supports off‑shift operations, approximately 75% of hours off‑shift and during evenings, nights.
Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. It assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager also assists in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
Education / Experience Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Two years RN experience
3–5 years of Acute Care Nursing experience, with strong preference for Med‑Surg and/or Oncology background
Previous charge nurse, lead RN, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Licenses / Certifications
Current RN license in the State of Michigan
BCLS/ACLS per unit's standard
Certifications appropriate for the specific unit

Coaching, performance management, and staff development
Throughput, patient flow, and discharge planning
