Responsibilities
Provide individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and discharge planning in an inpatient psychiatric facility; maintain patient records and confidentiality; work on cross-functional teams and address the needs of patients aged 3 through 18.
Qualifications
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES :
Excellent written and verbal skills
Strong assessment and interpersonal skills
Flexible and able to meet demands of heavy caseload
Ability to maintain patient records and confidentiality
Understanding of professional boundaries/relationships with staff and patients
Clinical and didactic skills and understanding of group dynamics
Must understand the needs of patients aged 3 through 18
Demonstrated ability to work on cross functional teams
EDUCATION
: Master’s degree in Social Work, Masters Degree in Counseling or Psychology
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
: LMSW, LCSW, LPCA, or LPC
EXPERIENCE
: At least 6 months\' work in individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, case management and discharge planning, preferably in an inpatient psychiatric facility; familiarity with ethical and legal duties regarding reporting of abuse.
