This position will be mainly scheduling for the clinics.
About the Practice
This location houses multiple Gastroenterology providers. Both APPs and physicians work out of this clinic, with physicians working in office seeing patients and also working within endoscopy space to scope patients. Our APPs see patients within our office and also round on patients within the hospital. This office has a welcoming atmosphere where strong teamwork is encouraged. We lean on one another to provide exceptional care for our patients. Staff work together daily to ensure that the clinic runs as smoothly as possible.

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of work
As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you\'ll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You\'ll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Successful completion of a hands-on competency-based medical assistant training program Required
1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
One of the following Required within 120 Days
AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
