Job Description
A well-established California-based defense litigation law firm in Woodland Hills is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its team. This is a full-time, in-office position offering meaningful case responsibility, mentorship, and long-term growth.
Practice areas include:
corporate defense, civil litigation, personal injury, construction defect, employment, and business disputes.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal briefs
Develop case strategy and advise clients
Participate in depositions, client meetings, and settlement negotiations
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and support staff
Qualifications
3–10 years of litigation experience (PI, construction defect, or commercial litigation preferred)
Experience in a law firm environment with billable hour requirementsStrong research, writing, and communication skills
Active California Bar membership in good standing
Courtroom experience a plus
Detail-oriented and team-focused
Compensation & Benefits
$120,000–$175,000, DOE
Quarterly performance bonuses
