Associate Attorney

Richmond, VA (Hybrid – 4 Days In Office)

Full-Time | $95,000 – $120,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits
An established and highly active litigation firm in the Richmond area is seeking an
Associate Attorney
to join its growing team. This firm is known for its aggressive litigation approach, collaborative culture, and commitment to delivering strong outcomes for clients across a variety of complex matters.

The Role
The Associate Attorney will play a key role in managing and advancing active litigation matters from inception through resolution. This position offers direct involvement in case strategy, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Handle all phases of discovery, including written discovery and document review
Take and defend depositions
Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Collaborate with internal teams to drive efficient and effective case outcomes
What They're Looking For
J.D. from an accredited law school and active Virginia Bar admission
Experience in litigation (any complex litigation background considered)
Preferred exposure to transportation, hospitality, or employment law
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume litigation environment
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple active cases
What You'll Get
Base salary:
$95,000 – $120,000+
(flexible based on experience)

Billable requirement:
1850 hours
