Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Draft substantive pleadings, motions, and briefs

Conduct rigorous legal research and develop strategic legal positions

Manage litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution

Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and coordinating document production

Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and appeals

Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy, witness preparation, and litigation planning

Qualifications

4+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment

Colorado licensure (state and federal courts), or ability to quickly become licensed, required

J.D. from an accredited law school

Experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations is preferred

Trial experience — civil and/or criminal — is a significant plus

Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills
