Remote Contract Attorney – Family Law – 5–15 hours per week (work from home). Salary: $75–$100 per hour.
Position is a contract placement hosted by Jacob Vane. No minimum billed‑hours requirement. Flexible schedule. Must be able to work remotely except for required in‑person duties. Candidate must relocate prior to starting work if not already in the area.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a wide variety of family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorce cases, custody disputes, and related issues.
Take full ownership of cases from start to finish, including trial preparation and appearances.
Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.
Maintain strong organizational practices and attention to detail.
Work remotely, with occasional in‑person meetings or court appearances.
Optional: Additional practice areas may include estate planning, criminal law, and general civil litigation.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of family law experience, including trial work and strong knowledge of state family law procedures and court rules.
Must reside within reasonable travel distance of the courthouse and be able to meet clients locally if needed.
Familiarity with Clio legal software and Math4Law is a plus.
Licensed attorney in good standing with NO disciplinary history in ANY state.
