Overview
Position Summary
Walmart is expanding its workforce and recruiting for a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities. The role uses commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools to complete jobs and contribute to a fast-paced, welcoming work environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders, support Stores and Store associates, and document repair activities.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations by following Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policies and environmental guidelines.
Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program
Mechanical license in city and/or state where job is located

Compensation
