Swiss Machinist
Location: Elk River, MN
Wage: $18–$28 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday, and 6:00 am – 12:00 pm on Friday (overtime required). 2nd Shift: 4:30 pm – 6:30 am, Monday – Thursday (Friday overtime optional)
Job Summary: Join a growing precision manufacturing team. We’re looking for skilled CNC machinists to operate Swiss, lathe, and milling machines in a clean, high‑tech environment. Duties
Set up and operate CNC Swiss, lathe, and milling machines to produce precision parts
Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Troubleshoot and correct machine or tooling issues as needed
Requirements
Previous CNC machining experience required (Swiss, lathe, or mill)
Setup and/or programming experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
Reliable, safety‑conscious, and able to work overtime as needed
