Job Duties
Request missing dictations from the provider
Rename and print Dr. Leiberman’s EMGs/Procedures
Match bills with all supporting documents once charges are entered and bills printed (per day and provider)
Mail/fax bills and scan completed faxed bills
Assistance with Rehab Billing
Assist with printing rehab bills and exporting/printing corresponding notes
Assist with mailing/faxing all rehab bills and scanning completed faxed bills
A/R-Collections Assistance
Assist with billing out “Insurance Pending” accounts
Assist with following up on medical cases
Back‑up support for UR records requests (WC)
Back‑up payment posting support (e.g., personal health insurance EFTs, medical records payments, month‑end help as needed)
Review denials for exhausted MVA’s and other pertinent correspondence to bring to collectors’ attention for review/follow‑up
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Additional Skills/Competencies
Maintain a strong confidentiality profile
Form interpersonal relationships (establish rapport with others)
Manage time effectively by setting priorities
Physical/Mental Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder height, working with the body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder height, lifting up to 20 lbs.
