MV-22 Aircraft Maintenance & Modification Technician

Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
Support MV-22 aircraft modification and maintenance operations by troubleshooting, repairing, testing, inspecting, and documenting aircraft systems and components to ensure flightworthiness and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Perform MV-22 aircraft maintenance, modification, repair, assembly, disassembly, and overhaul activities.
Remove, replace, repair, and test aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement modifications.
Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate faults and restore serviceability.
Perform functional, diagnostic, validation, and verification testing using monitoring instruments, bench test equipment, and automated test equipment.
Inspect components prior to installation to verify cleanliness, condition, and serviceability.
Verify completed repairs, modifications, and inspections meet flightworthiness requirements.
Document repairs, test results, modifications, inspection findings, and discrepancies in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and established process requirements.
Coordinate assembly, disassembly, overhaul, and modification activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Support discrepancy identification, reconciliation, technician guidance, and training activities.
Follow aircraft maintenance environment standards including FOD control, tool control, health, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with V-22 / MV-22 aircraft maintenance or modification.
4+ years of related aircraft maintenance, modification, repair, or overhaul experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Aircraft structures / airframes
Electrical systems
Avionics systems
Must be a true V-22 maintenance/modification technician; general mechanic backgrounds should not be submitted.
Preferred Qualifications:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
Quality Assurance experience
Depot-level aircraft modification experience
Experience supporting military, aerospace, or DoD aircraft programs
