To perform various assigned activities under close supervision as a student worker in support of research projects. Performs duties with a greater level of responsibility than a Student Researcher I.

Verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Responsibilities
Performs assigned tasks as directed in support of research activities.
Maintains a clean work area.
Complies with safety and environmental policies and procedures.
These duties are general in nature and represent examples; they are not exclusive or all-inclusive. Management retains the right to add or change duties at any time.
Physical and Environmental Demands
Requires occasional exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold; occasional handling or working with potentially dangerous equipment; occasional exposure to biohazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure, blood borne pathogens, fumes or airborne particles, and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations. Occasional travelling to offsite locations. Occasional bending, lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, occasional climbing, crawling, crouching/stooping, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching, frequent sitting, standing, twisting, and walking. (occasional—up to 20 %, frequent—21 % to 50 %, constant—51 % or more)
